LOVED IT!One of my tutors, Vic Hoyland, wrote 'A Head and Two Tails,' for us - I played a Cock and a Pimp I also sang in Brecht's 'Der Jasager und der Neinsager'I also danced the part of the Main God in Milhaud's 'Creation du Monde'We performed it at The Laban Centre but my god's head became jammed in the roof lighting ... SO embarrassingI danced the part of The Minotaur in Hans Werner Henze's 'Labrinth' at Huddersfield in 1984I was also a monkey in a cage in Mozart's 'Cosi' sung by Michael Rippon and Jane ManningOne of my dance assignments was to choreograph the Croquet Game from 'Alice in Wonderland' ... .... so I turned it into a Tango to the song 'Jealousy'My final year's show was based on the life and music of Scott Joplin... 'A Real Slow Drag' .... I got a 2:1 !!I auditioned for the part of Jesus in a new ballet by the New English Orchestra, Singers and Dancers, going to Salzburg in 1985 and got the part!My (future) wife was running the rehearsal and we married two years later!I am endebtted to one of my tutors, Greg Rose, for re-igniting my love of Stravinsky, Nijinsky and Diaghilev
