A teacher and Director of Music for some years, Michael has written extensively for choirs, orchestras and smaller ensembles. From the Royal Festival Hall to the top of the Malvern Hills, Michael creates exciting musical opportunities that remain long in the memory. From 1:1 sessions to full-scale choral works, Michael enables each musician to exceed their expectations. In 2017 Michael was Director of Music for the Cirencester Abbey900 concert series and was commissioned to write a choral work using text by Alexander Neckham, Abbot at Cirencester from 1215. It was received to great acclaim and will be performed in Spring 2018 to celebrate the burying of the time capsule under the Abbey. http://www.mcastlemusic.com/abbey900.html
