All Hallows School, Cranmore
I started as Director of Music at All Hallows in the Autumn of 2017 and had the BEST room in the school for teaching music - the old billiard room with super-high ceilings. (Click on the news article to load a Youtube of the music room in action.) I had a super team of visiting music teachers with lots of concerts and music exams each term. (The one on an Outer Space theme was great when everyone came as aliens and I dressed as Yoda.) Click on the audience pic below to watch the finale of the Sea Concert in 2019.
Being a Catholic school, I wrote a Mass for All Hallows as well as other pieces such as a choral setting of Vera Brittain’s poem ‘Roundel - Died of Wounds’ for Remembrance.
Summer was wonderful with the huge marquee on the lawn and the Summer Concert always well attended by both audience AND musicians!
